Jiao-Long

The Jiao-Long speed jig was designed by H4L Jigs. This jig is a speed jig / vertical Jig with a little bit of flutter added. We had many request for a long heavy jigs so we designed one. The longer jigs are well known used for Amberjack, Grouper and Tuna. The jig is tail weighted which gives it a fast drop rate with great darting action. The jig has two concave sides, and a slender body which help give this jig a little wiggle. I’ve noticed that with most speed jigs, the only action they have was darting. So I thought I would add a little more by adding the concave sides. This adds a little more realistic action to the dart by adding the wiggle or tail kick. When have you ever seen a bait fish shoot off in a straight line?  The long slender body helps when fishing strong currents, and or fishing deep waters.  I had the concave areas glow powder coated for those of you that like to fish deep or at night.

The finishes on these jigs are some of the best on the market. These jigs come in five different colors. These colors were chosen after a lot of research and fishing trials. We found these to be the most productive colors.

Target Species: Amberjack, Tuna all types, Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, and many other Reef Species.
